CC at the EHI Live – Birmingham 6th and 7th November

By CreativeConnection | 12/11/12 10:41 am

Well we certainly made an impression working with Symantec at the EHI Live event in Birmingham. So many visitors of the event commented on the amazing stand our team created with comments like ‘your are the best thing about this event’!. It was a very new concept with the whole stand being a canvas (which we built for the client) so at the start of the event the stand was a white set of walls and by the end of each day it was the most amazing and vibrant stand in the arena. So much interest was generated from the stand and  artists that a constant flow of communication with visitors and delegates was the end result. We will be posting a stopframe of both days on our youtube channel soon – so don’t miss it!  Again thanks so much to the CC team (Tim, Ali and Gordon) and our lovely client Mike for letting us be part of this innovative stand solution!

If you would like us to work with you on creating a innovative stand solution for your next event please contact us today at info@creativeconnection.co.uk

CC at The Sustainability exhibition at the CUBE gallery Manchester

By CreativeConnection | 12/11/12 10:40 am

Our team had a fantastic time at this amazing event. The team wowed the event visitors by covering various aspects around the space. The three themes they had to cover were Fair, Green and Dense Cities and they also had to capture comments from the speakers in speakers corner as well as capture visitors opinions across the three themes. Not our normal colourful VM work as client requested black and white to go with the overall event style. Although we do love colour – we really love the outcome of this one and say a massive thank you to the CC team (Holly, Sian and Rowan) and the client for letting us be part of this. If you would like to find out how we could work with you please contact us today at info@creativeconnection.co.uk

Our team did an amazing job to capture the wealth of information. If you would like more info on this event or want to find out more about how our artist teams can accommodate your next event don’t hesitate to get in touch!

The Art of Change

By Tim Casswell | 06/03/12 3:17 pm

The Art of Change

All communication is about change. Changing an understanding, a feeling, a behaviour, an opinion, and ultimately we are in a constant state of change in response to messages we are receiving. This understanding is behind the art of leadership, and has been intensively studied and researched ever human beings began to talk. In spite of this research and attention, dysfunctional communication is still the most costly waste of human energy.

The problem with communication is the complexity of the means used to send and receive information. Even discounting new technologies and their effect on the quality of communication there are far too many languages for us to control all of them. In reading another human being we look for all kinds of clues. Most of this awareness is actually subliminal. We feel the effects but don't know exactly what has given rise to our interpretation.

We have devised some ways to handle the complexity of human communication. Inevitably the exercises simplify the process. There is so much more to say about this so it would be great to hear your views on this.
